Niseko Star Fes 2016
On the 22nd and 23rd July 2016, the inaugural Niseko Star Fes will be held at the Niseko Annupuri International Ski Area.
The Niseko Star Fes 2016’s main event is “Starwatching” and will start from 18:30 to 21:00 on both days.
Vixen, one of Japan’s leading telescopic equipment manufacturers, will be bringing telescopes and binoculars and teaching
people how to use this equipment to enjoy the wonders of the night sky. The event is poised to be one of the best events
in this years Niseko Event Calendar. A great fun event for everyone!
English speaking staff will be on hand to translate the information from the specialist staff who are attending from Vixen.
As well as the “Starwtaching Event”, there is also a food corner and activities area, that will be operational from 12:00 noon
with lots of fun activities for friends and family.
One of the big attractions planned for the afternoon is the a “Glamping” experience. Glamping is the camping style that is
taking the world by storm.
For those visitors without a car there will be a bus that connects with Niseko Station and the resort areas operating on the day,
this service is by reservation and on a first in first served basis. (Details can be found on the official facebook site.)

Entrance fee is only necessary for the “Star Watching” which starts from 18:30. There maybe charges for some of the activities and food and beverages.
＊In the event of bad weather, Vixen will be conducting a “Star Classroom” inside Nook Annupuri.
・From Sapporo, travel via Nakayama Pass (R230) travelling time is approx 2 hours and total distance is 110 kilometers
・From Otaru travel via (R5) travelling time is approx 1 hour and 30 minutes and the total distance is 60 kilometers
・From the New Chitose Airport travel via the Bifue Pass (R276) the travelling time is around 2 hours and the distance is 110 kilometers
