Urespa opened in April 2019 as a place of Ainu craftsmanship, where aspiring craftsmen can hone their crafts while tourists and townspeople participate in Ainu culture. Why not join the current activity, pendant-making, offered by the Center. In this activity, you assemble and add an Ainu pattern to a pendant, using a pendant top, string, and beads. In addition to activities in the building, remote activities via the Internet have been available since August. Don’t miss this valuable chance to learn about Ainu crafts and cultural practices!
