Early Morning Hot Air Balloon Rides from the Tokachigawa Hot Springs

Visitors to the Tokachigama Onsen (“hot springs”) should not pass up a chance to try a tethered hot air balloon ride. As amazing as the landscape looks from the ground, looking out over the gorgeous pastoral landscape of the Tokachigawa Onsen area from high up cannot be beaten! The sight of the Tokachigawa River gleaming in the morning sun, the expansive Tokachi Plains, and the Daisetsuzan Mountain Range towering in the distance are a moving sight to see from the air. Small children are permitted to ride along as well, making this a great opportunity to create some lasting memories with your family. The rides are available every day from late April to late September, but be aware that they may be cancelled on days with bad weather.
