The Fujimi Roadside Station was renovated in April, 2008. Its wonderful location—in front of the Sea of Japan and Mt. Rishiri—is very popular for sightseeing on sunny days. Try Enbetsu Croquettes (¥300), which won third prize at the National Croquette Festival 2019, and are handmade by the women’s division of the Enbetsu Society of Commerce and Industry. It is a must-try, packed with the flavor of scallops and octopus, and can only be enjoyed at the station.
