JOZANKEI NATURE LUMINARIE　Experience a Multicolored Fantasy of Lights

Held from early June to late October

The “Jozankei Nature Luminarie” is a lighting event held just outside of Sapporo around Jozankei Onsen. During this event, the area around the hot springs becomes wreathed in light displays, allowing visitors to walk along outdoor paths that go through Jozankei Futami Park and across the Futami suspension bridge. During summer, these magical light displays decorate the forest floor as soon as the sun goes down. Visitors taking this nighttime stroll can listen to the calming sound of rushing water as it mingles with the evening insect songs. Those staying in the area can go out while wearing a yukata, making this magical experience even more special.
