This tour lets you discover two incredible mountains with an overnight stay in Daisetsuzan National Park. On day one, you’ll learn about the formation of the surrounding Mountains, the Ishikari River, and gorges of Sounkyo at Sounkyo Visitor Center before climbing up to the observation deck to see the incredible panoramic view for yourself. On day two, spend a relaxing day traversing the Daisetsuzan Mountains between Mt. Kuro and Mt. Asahi. Admire expanses of beautiful alpine flora and the magnificent crater on the Ohachi-daira Plateau, formed by huge volcanic eruptions. If you’re lucky, you might even spot a brown bear in the distance. A visit to one of Asahidake Onsen’s hot springs is the perfect way to relax after your hike.
