This lovely three season park is popular among local residents as a place to unwind. Here, you can enjoy seasonal wonders, such as the blooming pinks of cherry blossoms and azaleas in the Spring, ethereal floating waterlilies in the Summer, and an explosion of colorful leaves in Autumn. According to tradition, the park began as a pond that was dug at the start of the Meiji era to store water for livestock which was then renovated by Chohachiro (the park’s namesake) to breed carp and irrigate rice fields. So, what are you waiting for? Whether you are in Hokuto City in the Spring, Summer, or Fall, Hachironuma Park will have beauty in store for you!
