Explore the Beautiful Sun Pillar Park in Nayoro

Sun Pillar Park lives in the Nisshin area of the northern city of Nayoro. The park, named after the many sunflowers that blossom in the region, is home to beautiful forests, grassy meadows, and plenty of sunflower gardens. The park is divided into 3 areas and 11 zones, designed with the theme “hometown of the north” in mind. The Sun Pillar Community Center is outfitted with an indoor playground and sports gym during the summer months. During the winter, the community center’s gym transforms into a large indoor curling rink. Visitors who wish to play can rent curling equipment and play a few games on the smooth ice.
