dummy

About 74 kilometers north of Asahikawa lies Nayoro, the “Sunflower Town.” Named after the 5 million sunflowers that bloom in its fields during early August, these bright fields cover this quaint city in brilliant yellow. Visitors to the area should stop by Nisshin, the site of Sun Pillar Park, and Chiebun, where the massive sunflower field of MOA Nayoro Farm can be found. From Sunflower Hill in Sun Pillar Park, visitors can watch the rows of flowers turn their heads toward the east to catch the sun’s rays.
