dummy

Opened in 2010, this art museum features almost 250 works by renowned French painter, Gerard Di-Maccio, including the largest oil painting in the world, the Grande Toile (Great Web). The building was once an elementary school from the days of Hokkaido’s first settlers, so you will be treated to a piece of architectural history as well as the incredible works housed within. Stop by to enjoy Di-Maccio’s revolutionary style, called “Visionary Art” by the French media, and marvel at the preciseness of the anatomy in his paintings. While at the Di-Maccio Art Museum, be sure to take a break at the restaurant Atrantis for a bowl of delicious pasta.
