Fish for Great Prices is Easy at the Atsuta Port Morning Market

Held every morning at Atsuta Port from the beginning of April to the middle of October, the morning market includes 20 shops arranged in a C-shape. Bustling with buyers and window shoppers alike on the weekends, the market attracts people looking for the freshest fish and an inside look at the fish trade. Highlights throughout the year include the flatfish and flounder from April to June, mantis shrimp and cuttlefish from May to June, sea urchin from June to mid-August and salmon from September to October.
