Rebun Island is the perfect spot for adventurers looking for a rugged mountain trail and stunning vistas. The island is famous for its floral ecosystem where many wildflowers, like the aptly named Rebun lady’s slipper (a member of the orchid family), are unique to the region. There are two main hiking courses around the island. The Momoiwa Observation Deck Course takes you to all of the best alpine flower spots, where you’ll see Rebun’s floral biodiversity in action. While the Misaki Meguri Course leads you all the way around the island’s perimeter, past awe-inspiring coastal views and flower-covered fields.
