Go Horsing Around at the Northern Horse Park

The Northern Horse Park, located just 15 minutes by car from New Chitose Airport, is a picture-book park in central Hokkaido where you can ride on and play with the resident horses. There around 80 horses of 12 different breeds, from racehorses whose glory days on the track are behind them to prancing little ponies.   Guided activities include the “Happy Pony Performance” (a dancing pony show), horse riding, horse petting, and horse feeding time.
