Go Snorkeling in the volcanic Lake Shikotsu – HOKKAIDO LOVE!
dummy

Lake Shikotsu is a caldera lake in Shikotsu-Toya National Park formed by an ancient volcanic eruption around 44,000 years ago. The lake is one of the clearest in Japan – it’s so clear that swimming through feels like floating in the air. This snorkeling tour will let you discover Lake Shikotsu’s mystical underwater areas, such as the sunken ancient forest and volcanic rock formations known locally as the “underwater Grand Canyon.” If you’re lucky, you might even encounter schools of up to 1,000 fish. Swimmers of all levels and experience are welcome, and experienced guides will instruct you through the adventure.
