Hot springs which flow directly into the bath without any modification from the source are rare in Japan. Out of several tens of thousands of hot spring facilities, it is said that only a handful these use direct flow from the source. While visiting Hoheikyo Hot Spring, sometimes known as a velvety hot spring for its feel on the skin, be sure to try the open-air baths with a continuous flow of hot water from the source. The panoramic views and stunning illumination at dark make this experience truly magical! And for when you want to grab a bite, choose from homemade Indian food, such as nan and curries, homemade soba noodles, or Jingisukan (lamb BBQ) with fresh vegetables, all using local ingredients!
