Indulge in Rich Local Fruit at the Hakkenzan Winery

The Hakkenzan Winery is located right at the foot of Mt. Hakken, about 30 minutes from central Sapporo. The unique wine produced at this winery is made from a blend of grapes and apples. In addition to wine, the winery sells a variety of original jams, rich fruit syrups, and soda drinks that are made from locally grown fruit. Visitors to the winery can easily spend their entire day in the area. After sipping on vino, visitors can take a relaxing dip in the hot waters of the nearby Jozankei Onsen (hot spring). Other activities like hiking, golfing, and horse-back riding are easily accessible from the winery as well.
