Lake Kussharo is one of the largest caldera lakes in Japan, with a circumference of 57 kilometers and a maximum depth of 125 meters. Located in the beautiful Akan National Park, this lake is surrounded by the magnificent Mount Mashu and Mount Shari so visitors looking to do some hiking will not be disappointed.
