Marvel at the Night Sky Alive with Stars Above Lake Mashu

Enjoy spectacular panoramas of the star-filled heavens at Lake Mashu, where no mountains obstruct the view.  Admire the Milky Way in summer and the twinkling Winter Hexagon in colder months. Shooting stars and satellites also make appearances, so be sure to keep your eyes peeled!  Even on nights when the stars can’t be seen, there is still plenty to enjoy, including the stories behind constellations, the sight of Lake Mashu softly illuminated by starlight, and a nightscape that stretches all the way to the lights of distant Kushiro.
