“SNOW MIKU” is a wintery version of the popular Vocaloid virtual singing character named Hatsune Miku. In 2010, a sculpture of the character made its first appearance at the Sapporo Snow Festival and since has become the mascot of everything winter in Hokkaido. Along with her pet rabbit Yukine, the heroic snowy songstress endeavors day and night to introduce the people of the world to the delights and charms of her home prefecture. The SNOW MIKU Sky Town is a shopping center dedicated to the Vocaloid heroine. With countless limited edition products on sale, illustrations that can only be found in the adjoining Museum, and the Hokkaido Gurutto Theater’s immersive 360-degree screen, visitors coming through the New Chitose Airport should stop and see what Snow Miku has in store for them.
