A Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) located along Japan National Route 237. Has a store that sells goods based on Asahiyama Zoo, the Asahikawa City mascot Asappy, etc.; select confections sourced mainly from Asahikawa; freshly harvested local vegetables; and more. Also has a food court where you can enjoy local specialties like Asahikawa ramen. The shoyu ramen from popular ramen shop Baikohken is very flavorful, with a taste you won’t tire of. Promotes Dohoku (the northern part of Hokkaido) food and culture, as well as information about tourist spots in the surrounding area.
