Michi-no-Eki Kamishihoro – A Michi-no-Eki With Lots of Food Made From Local Tokachi-Area Ingredients – HOKKAIDO LOVE!
dummy

Kamishihoro Town is located in the foothills to the east of Daisetsuzan National Park, at the northern edge of the Tokachi area. Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) Kamishihiro is a great jump-off point for the town’s tourist spots, which include Naitai Highland Farm and Nukabira Gensenkyo. What makes this Michi-no-Eki different is the wide variety of food they sell. Comprised of a Western restaurant with course meals; a takeout corner with more casual eats made with local Tokachi ingredients; and a bakery and confectionery selling products made with wheat from Hokkaido Prefecture, local ingredients, and more. Also provides tourism information.
