Michi-no-Eki (roadside station) based on the “City of Rice,” Fukagawa City, located at the intersection of Japan National Route 12 and 233. Offers Fukagawa local specialties including Fukagawa rice; soba; sobameshi (riceballs made of flavored rice, fried buckwheat, cooked meat, vegetables, etc.); apples, another Fukagawa specialty; and more. Popular products include their large riceballs, big enough to fill you right up, and their kamameshi (Japanese rice dish cooked in an iron pot). The Rice Gallery also offers rice-milling workshops.
