Observe Eagles on a One-day Charter Tour

Head out looking for Steller’s sea eagles and white-tailed eagles on this full-day tour complete with a nature guide. In addition to seeing a dizzying number of eagles peering out from the forest’s trees, you might also catch sight of some of the many Yezo shika deer and Yezo red foxes that call the area home. The Steller’s sea eagle travels to the Nemuro area from Siberia. With its 2.4-meter wingspan, the bird of prey is a majestic sight. Lake Furen, located near Nemuro, has become the main wintering spot for these magnificent birds in recent years, with approximately 700 flying each year.
