dummy

Our Lady of the Angels Trappistine Monastery is Japan’s first women’s monastery, and was established in 1898. The building’s architectural design combines both Gothic and Romanesque styles with vaulted arched ceilings and stained glass accents that are sure to leave a lasting impression. The monastery’s beautiful brick exterior and surrounding gardens are lovely at any time of year. The surrounding area is particularly well known for its cherry blossoms in the spring, and its autumn foliage in the fall. The madeleine cakes made by the nuns are a unique and popular souvenir. Even to this day, the nuns of the abbey spend their lives at work and in prayer.
