Grab a friend and your “duckie” and get ready for a wild river ride in central Hokkaido. If you’ve never been on a duckie, also known as an inflatable kayak, Niseko Adventure Base is a great place to get your first taste. Feel the speed and the power of the river as you navigate your kayak through thrilling twists and turns. But there’s no need to worry as an experienced guide will be nearby on another duckie. For beginners and those needing a refresher, guides will be on hand to offer instructions and tips before heading out. All guides are licensed by the Rafting Association of Japan and certified as Level 1 or 2 Swiftwater Rescue Technicians.
