dummy

Tokachimura, meaning “Tokachi Village”, opened in August 2010 as a facility for tourism exchange celebrating the produce and culture of Hokkaido’s Tokachi subprefecture. Located next to Obihiro Racecourse, a delicious bounty of Tokachi produces awaits visitors to Tokachimura’s shops and markets. The local farmer’s market offers fresh vegetables grown by farmers on the plains of Tokachi; delectable Tokachi okashi, sweets, for which the region is famed; and butadon, thin-sliced pork caramelized in soy sauce served on rice, which eventually became a sensation countrywide. Get a glimpse of this treasure trove of great local food, in an area that is 100% food self-sufficient!
