Sapporo City Jazz　Smooth Summer Sounds for the Soul

The Sapporo City Jazz Festival had its humble beginnings in 2007 and has since grown exponentially, bringing together over 300 professional and amateur artists every year. What used to be a staple event of summer has since expanded into two, one held in July and one held in December. Sapporo Art Park’s outdoor stage and Odori Park are just two of the venues open during the summer event. Patrons can sit or lie in the grass as they listen to the swinging sounds of the performers. Music-lovers visiting Sappror will become entranced as the city comes alive with the sound of jazz.
