dummy

Located southwest of Lake Akan, Mt. Me-akan is the main peak of the Akan Mountain Group. Volcanic activity in the area began approximately 20,000 years ago, and repeated eruptions have since created complex mountain structures. Get a sense of the area’s history observing tracks used to transport sulfur during Akan’s period as a mining community. Although at 12 kilometers this guided hike is relatively long, the slopes are gentle. There are also many sights to see, including exposed sulfur on the mountain.
