Welcome to Torokko Kingdom, a trolley activity facility that uses old railroad lines from the former Japanese National Railways’ Miyuki Line, which was discontinued in 1985. The trolley runs on real rails for a 10-kilometer round trip, which takes you down a path rich in nature through a scenic tunnel of trees and ravines. You need a driver’s license to drive the trolley, but you can ride a staff-driven trolley without a license! The railroad bridges and railroad crossings from its railway era remain intact, making this an irresistible spot for railroad fans.
