Hunt for animal tracks, admire the dazzling white, powder-soft snow, and take in the tranquility that is Niseko’s snow forests on foot. This easy one to two-kilometer walk created by Niseko Outdoor Center is led by a certified Hokkaido outdoor guide who has an intimate knowledge of Niseko’s forests. Witness the snow gently fall, listen to the crunch of your own footsteps on the snow and keep an ear out for the occasional call from nearby wildlife. After you’ve finished the tours, guests are encouraged to take a break with cookies and hot tea in the snow.
