Try Traditional Ice Fishing on Frozen Lake Sahoro

Try ice fishing through the frozen surface of Lake Sahoro, considered a true Hokkaido winter tradition. Drill a hole in the ice and try to catch smelt as they dart around underneath you. You might even get a large rainbow trout! A specially-designed fishing tent will keep out the winter chill so that you stay nice and warm. Once you’ve got a bite, you can deep fry your catch and eat it right there in the tent.
