Try Your Hand at Dogsledding with a Beginner-friendly Course

Explore the rural landscape of Takasu, located near Asahikawa, on an approximately 7-kilometer dogsledding course. Each participant will have the chance to ride a single-seater sled while other participants ride alongside on a homemade sled pulled by a snowmobile. The dogsled has been specially designed to provide first-time riders with maximum stability and ease of steering. Since opening in 2004, the provider has strived to make the tours as enjoyable for the dogs as they are for the participants.
