Ishikari Coast Scenery Ride

This short ride starts in the center of Sapporo and heads out around Atsuta toward Ishikari. It's easy, and gives a chance to enjoy the gorgeous sunset over Ishikari Bay. This route also takes in wide sunflower and rapeseed fields, so is a real treat in summer. It's also dotted with soft-serve shops and cafes, so the dining is also great. With Sapporo as a base, you can take in some truly Hokkaido-ish charms in a short time, making this an attractive, easy course.

Hakodate Ocean View Ride

This course runs along the coastline road of highway 278 starting from Hakodate. Enjoy refreshing cycling in the soothing sea breeze and sounds of the Tsugaru Strait. Near Hinohama Beach, the spitting image of Waikiki Beach, you'll find Michi-no-Eki Nawatoesan, where the famous Nebokke Mackerel is a must try delicacy. There are also plenty of onsens, including the Mizunashikaihin Onsen, which is submerged at high tide!
