The autumnal leaves that vividly fill the Ishikari River are superb

A scenic landscape of the autumn leaves period is also a beautiful scenic spot representing Asahikawa

In Ainu language means "the village of God", a scenic spot which is counted as one of "Asahikawa Hakkei" which selected representative scenes of Asahikawa in 1997 (Heisei 9). From early October to mid-October, Momiji, Ginkgo biloba, Nanakamado, Mizunara, Maple etc are vividly colored. In addition, along the rapids of the Ishikari River flowing through Kamuikotan district, rough terrible rock stone stones last about 10 km. It is a famous place as a spot widely familiar to citizens, not to mention the autumn leaves season.

  • The contrast of autumnal leaves and white suspension bridges is a masterpiece
  • Summer scenery before autumn leaves color
  • SL displayed on the side of Old Kamiikotan station
