Lake Shikotsu Crystal Blue Snorkeling Tour

Lake Shikotsu Crystal Blue Snorkeling Tour

Lake Shikotsu is a caldera lake in Shikotsu-Toya National Park formed by a volcanic eruption about 44,000 years ago. The lake is one of the clearest in Japan, so clear that swimming through it is said to feel like floating in the air. Discover mystical areas such as the sunken ancient forest and traces of eruptions known as the “underwater Grand Canyon”. If you’re lucky, you might even encounter schools of up to 1,000 fish. All levels of swimmer are welcome, and experienced guides will instruct you every step of the way.
