Sip on the Unique Blends of the Furano Winery

The winemakers at the Furano Winery pride themselves in only using locally grown Furano grapes rather than import varietals from abroad. The wildly fluctuating temperatures of the Furano Basin make for a unique growing environment, affording the winery a great amount of flexibility when blending and bottling their wine. Wines unique to the region, like the Furano ice wine, are available for purchase at the winery’s tasting room and gift shop. Visitors can take a tour of the production line or the wine cellar followed by a tasting. For those that visit in June, fields of lavender are only a short walk away.
