Teshikaga Ramen is a famous ramen chain with branches in the Sapporo Ramen Yokocho and the New Chitose Airport. Their soup broth is based on “genkotsu,” which involves pig bones, sourced from pig farmers located just outside of Sapporo, slowly simmered in water from Lake Mashu for 24 hours. One of their most popular menu items is the delicious and reasonably priced Yakiniku Pork Miso (980¥). This epic dish is topped with a huge piece of pork chashu that spills over the sides of the bowl, making it one satisfying bowl of soup!
