OVERVIEW
Enjoy the magnificent nature while cycling and trekking in Niseko, which is praised as “the highest quality snow” by skiers all around the world. We will be riding the hybrid bike on the panoramic line to see the scenery of Annupuri and the terrain of this area including the Sea of Japan, and then trek to the top of Annupuri to view the Ezo Fuji “Mt. Yotei”.We will deepen our understanding of the unique terrain of Niseko while solving the mystery of why powder snow falls on this land.
ITINERARY
Niseko Kyowa Town
The total cycling time is around 2 hrs, total distance in around 22km. A 15mins break will be taken after the first half around 12 km is completed. The ending point for this activity is the Exchange Promotion Center Yuki-Chichibu, which is also the place for our lunch. For this cycling activity, we will ride on a part of Niseko Classic Course while viewing the Sea of Japan to have a look of the terrain of this area.
Niseko Annupuri
Trekking in Annupuri starts at the Goshikinuma Information Center. The uphill course takes around 2 hours. We will take a break at the peak for 20mins. Please enjoy the stunning view of Mt. Yotei (which is called Ezo Fuji because it looks like the real Mt. Fuji at the peak of Annupuri) and take as many pictures as you want.
LUNCH
A special BBQ lunch with plenty of Rankoshi rice and local ingredients at Yukichichibu Exchange Promotion Center. (vegetarian meals available)
Lunch will be served with local ingredients BBQ and the rice ball is made with Rankoshi Rice. The staff from Rankoshi Town Tourism Association will take care of the BBQ. At the same time, you can communicate with the local people about how to enjoy four seasons in Niseko and how to plant and process Rankoshi Rice.
